I have always had a love for both cooking and baking since I was kid. On Saturday afternoons I would plop myself in front of the PBS cooking shows and indulge. From then on I began to teach myself how to do whatever I could in my home kitchen. I found a job at a wonderful bakery and absorbed as much as I could about the baking and decorating world. While working, I went to school to receive my Culinary Certificate+Associates at Mt. San Antonio College and then transferred to Collins College of Hospitality at Cal Poly Pomona. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Management. Throughout my time in school I worked and gained experience wherever I could. Working under Chef Laurent Quenioux is one of the most rewarding that I have done to date, as well as doing bake sales out of my own small apartment. I want to continue to grow and share my love of food with the world!
